Following the challenges of July, the month of August saw excellent metrics. Website traffic bounced back by 34.9%, with a high overall trend. Average session duration also went up by 21.4%, and has reached 1 minute. A similar percentage of users arrived through organic search channels as did in July, and all but 4 were new to the website. The average SEO rank is higher now – the site sits at 4.5 overall, versus the 5.5 in the previous month. Some notably performing keywords include ‘window cleaning Ballina’ (1st spot) and ‘roof painting Byron Bay’ (2nd spot). In August, our on-page strategies focused on the ‘roof cleaning Byron Bay’ keyword, which presently ranks 6th. We aim to move it closer to the top 3 spots of Google search results. This September, we will shift to off-page optimisations to improve website relevance and authority.
