January again sees plenty of positives for the site in terms of traffic and SEO. User traffic again rose, this time by 1.5%, and the overall trend ended on a favourable upward note. Over half those users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and 106 out of 109 were new. Average session duration also went up by 31.4% – very pleasing to see. On the other hand, SEO saw a minimal drop in the site’s average rank, although it still sits in a comfortable position at 5.7. We’ve sustained our keywords in the top 5 spots, and 6 out of 9 rank #1. There are a further 12 keywords in the top 4 to 10, which means all but four of our keywords are on Google’s first page. January saw us complete on-page optimisations for the ‘roof painting Casino’ target keyword, which now ranks 11th. February will see us focus on the ‘roof painting Alstonville’ target keyword to see it move in rankings.
