We experienced some challenges in the month of July. Website traffic declined, with an overall trend that went up and down. More favourably, 59.1% of users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and they spent a significant amount of time on the website. Almost all those organic search users were new as well! The site’s average SEO rank remains high at 5.5, although it saw a dip by 1.5%. A notable win is the ‘roof cleaning Alstonville’ keyword, which now ranks 2nd (up from 3rd in June). In July, we focused on off-page strategies to boost the site’s SEO rank. To do this, we improved the way Google and users perceive the website’s authority. This August, we will shift to on-page strategies focusing on the ‘roof cleaning Byron Bay’ keyword, which presently ranks 13th. It has a significant monthly search volume, so we aim to bring it closer to the top 10 spots of Google search results.
