May continues April’s positive results, with a bigger increase in website traffic at 10.3%. The overall trend was higher throughout the month, and ended on a welcome upward note. We again saw a favourable majority of users arrive through organic (SEO) searches, and almost all of them were again new. SEO performance remains steady, with no change in the site’s average SEO rank. We did lose one keyword from the top 3 spots of search results, but we have sustained our total number of keywords holding the #1 position at 7. There are a further 11 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, so again, all but two of our keywords are on the first page of search results. This remains very promising, and something we can build on. May also saw us secure an off-page editorial spot, which hopefully helps boost traffic to the site. Next month we aim to expand our off-page strategies to see more progress to the window cleaning target keywords, which we hope will continue to improve site and SEO performance.
