October brought several favourable results for the campaign in both site traffic and SEO! User traffic again rose by 17.0%, and while the overall trend saw fluctuations, there were several high points. Majority of users again arrived through organic (SEO) channels, with almost all of them new. Average session duration also rose slightly by 3.1%, and most users remain on the website for a significant amount of time. This signals that our content is relevant to our site visitors, which is a positive. In terms of SEO performance, we saw a pleasing rise in the site’s average rank, by 4.4%. We now have one more keyword on the first page of Google’s search results, and 10 in the top 3 spots. Of those 10, 6 hold the #1 position. All of these are fantastic to see for the campaign. Through November, we’ll focus our strategies on the ‘roof painting Alstonville’ target keyword so it moves closer to the #1 spot on Google.
