The SEO campaign for the month of June sees areas for improvement in both site traffic and keyword rankings. We can see a 71.7% decrease in user site visits this month that brought the number of users from 367 to 104 users. A closer look at the stats, however, shows two promising points: the massive 442.5% jump in average time spent by each user on the site and the huge increase in mobile device users this month. These are areas for potential growth as increased time spent on the site may signify increased user engagement, while the increase in mobile traffic can be a source of insight on how to further boost our optimisation efforts. As for keyword rankings, we’re pleased to see two of our keywords in strong positions of first page results. These are ‘synthetic grass botany’ and ‘synthetic grass wollongong’, which are at 3rd and 4th position, respectively. Worth noting is the on-page optimisation for keyword ‘artificial turf sydney’, which boosted the mentioned keyword to 22nd position in June. Despite the fluctuations in ranking for some keywords, we’re optimistic that stronger on-page and off-page strategies will push more keywords further up the rankings of search results.
