To optimise the campaign, negative keywords were added to exclude competitor and irrelevant search terms, ensuring that the ads reached a more targeted audience. Manual bidding was utilised, allowing for more control over the bidding strategy. Additionally, efforts were made to gain Google Advertiser verification, which would unlock access to additional ad assets and attract more relevant clicks for conversions. Looking ahead to July, the plan is to continue manual bidding and update the negative keywords list to avoid wasted spend. Refining and adding relevant keywords will be a priority to drive more conversions and increase the overall performance of the campaign.

  • For this month, we put competitor and irrelevant search terms in the negative keywords list. We also adjusted keywords to only bid on cheaper but equally relevant keywords. We are still undergoing the Google Advertiser verification, which will allow access to more ad assets that can be used to attract more relevant clicks that will lead to conversions.
  • With that being said, the plan for July is to continue using manual bidding. We will also update the negative keywords list to avoid waste due to irrelevant, low intent and competitor searches. Finally, we will refine or add keywords to gain more relevant search volume to drive conversions.
