November has been a series of mixed results for SEO and website analytics. There has been a slight decline in website traffic by 8.3%, however, average session duration increased by 11.2% which indicates that users are spending more time navigating the website. Regarding SEO, there has been a slight decline in rankings. Upon further investigation, the website has not been penalised, meaning, there are no errors. This indicates that the cause of the decline was external factors caused by Google, for example, algorithm changes, which means that the decline is temporary. In addition to this, there have been seasonal changes which means that users have decreased their need to search for parenting courses or life coaching at the end of the year. Despite this decline, it is anticipated that the demand for these services will increase within the new year. Regarding focuses, in November, we completed off-page optimisation by building links that benefit the social profile pages and improve the relevance of the website. In December, the focus will be to complete off-page optimisation in order to gain citations that will assist in recovering the website’s rankings.
