The SEO campaign for the month of February sees some noteworthy wins as well as some areas for potential. While a slight dip in site traffic from last month’s 2,361 users to this month’s 2,124 users can be seen, we’re pleased that the time spent by each user on the site went up by 19.1% to 2 minutes and 24 seconds this month on average per site visit. Of the total users this month, 1,778 users can be traced from organic search results with 1,696 of these users tagged as new visitors to the site. SEO rankings are doing fairly well with an increase in the number of keywords joining the top 1-3 positions of first page results as well as keyword ‘day spa adelaide’ improving its ranking from last month’s 2nd position to this month’s 1st position in Google Maps. While a slight dip in the number of keywords joining the top 4-10 positions of first page results can be seen, the other keywords ‘day spa adelaide’ and ‘couples spa adelaide’ are both going strong in their rankings at 4th and 5th positions, respectively. We will continue to use our link building strategy through March to maintain if not push the ranking for the keyword ‘day spa adelaide’ to the top 3 positions.

January’s SEO stats show some areas for potential that we’ll be working on through February. Website traffic stats took a slight dip with an 18.8% decrease in user site visits from last month’s 2,909 users to this month’s 2,361 users. Of the 2,361 users, 1,918 are from organic search results with 1,826 tagged as new users. The average session duration has slightly decreased as well with users spending 9.1% less time than their average session duration last month. On a positive note, we’re pleased to report that there was an increase in the number of keywords in the top 1-3 positions of search results at 36 keywords this month. SEO rankings show steady results for targeted keywords ‘day spa adelaide’ and ‘couples spa adelaide’ with their rankings maintained at 2nd position in Google Maps and at 5th position of first page results, respectively. While targeted keyword ‘day spa adelaide’ moved down to 4th position this month from last November’s 2nd position and a decrease in the number of keywords ranking in the top 4-10 of search results can be seen, we’re looking to further solidify the SEO campaign with an off-page strategy to see the ranking for the keyword ‘day spa adelaide’ bounce back up to the top 3 positions of Google’s results.
