The SEO campaign for the month of November has seen some noteworthy wins and a few areas of focus for the coming months. There has been a 1.9% decrease in website user traffic this month from October’s 258 users to 253 users in November. Of the 253 users, 66 users are from organic search results with 64 out of the 66 of those organic users tagged as new site visitors. The average session duration’s impressive 78.6% increase this month to 33 seconds from last month’s 18 seconds is worth noting as well as the strong ranking of the targeted keywords in the first page of search results, with ‘telstra business partner ipswich’, ‘telstra business partner brisbane’, and ‘business it services ipswich’ ranking in 1st, 7th, and 4th positions, respectively. The number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions of first page results is retained at 3 keywords this month, while a dip from last month’s 3 keywords to this month’s 2 keywords can be seen in the number of keywords joining the top 4-10 positions of search results. It is interesting to note that peaks in site visits usually occur inside increments of 6 days this month, where 4 graphs of 6-day increments can be seen exhibiting this pattern throughout the month of November from November 1-7, 9-15, 15-22, and 23-29, respectively. We will monitor this pattern of website traffic in the coming months.
