Talk Business Technology – October 2021 Monthly Report
Manager
The SEO campaign this October saw a slight dip in site traffic stats. There’s a total of 293 users visiting the site this month, with 70 of these users coming from the organic search channel. Keyword rankings this month can’t be tracked unfortunately, as we found that a number of keywords lost their rankings. We are currently investigating the cause of this phenomenon. We’re able to monitor the ranking of one keyword, ‘telstra business partner ipswich’, which is ranking at 33rd position this month. Something to look forward to in the coming weeks is the ranking of the keyword ‘teams calling plan’, as on-page optimisations were completed for the mentioned keyword this October. This strategy is expected to catapult the keyword further up the rankings of search results. We will use on-page strategies on the keyword ‘teams calling plan’ through November to push the mentioned keyword closer to the first page of Google’s results.

The month of April sees areas for potential in site traffic, as well as consistency in this month’s keyword rankings and in the number of keywords joining the top 3 and top 4-10 positions of first page results. From last month’s 406 user site visits, there’s a slight dip this month at 348 user site visits. Of the 348 users who visited the site, 56 users came from organic search results. Keyword rankings for ‘telstra business partner ipswich’, ‘telstra business partner brisbane’, and ‘business it services ipswich’ retain their strong positions of first page search results, with ‘business it services ipswich’ and ‘telstra business partner ipswich’ securing the #1 spot again this April. It’s pleasing to note that the keyword ‘telstra calling for office 365’ and ‘telstra teams calling’ have moved up their rankings to 16th and 12th position this month. We’re looking forward to seeing more impactful results on Microsoft Calling related keywords after refocusing some of the SEO keywords. We will continue with our optimisation efforts through the month of May and focus on the Microsoft Calling page to further boost the rankings closer to the first page of search results.
