The Smile Workx – April 2022 Monthly Report
Manager
We continue to see positive overall results for the campaign across several metrics! User visits again went up, this time by 75.0%, peaking on 21 April with 38 users visiting the site on the day. Average session duration remains over a minute, which is pleasing. We also saw a small but favourable increase in the site’s average SEO ranking, this time by 0.6%. Many of our target keywords have performed well, securing positions on the first page of Google search results. Some notable keywords include ‘invisible braces Sunrise Beach’ and ‘anti wrinkle injections Eumundi’, which both rank #1. We will expand our optimisation strategies for our vital keywords to boost their rankings. For Google Ads, meanwhile, we saw a fantastic start. Clicks are up to 370 in total, with an 8.5% Click Through Rate. This has resulted in 11 total conversions, although the new Search campaign does come with a higher Cost Per Conversion. In April, we focused on increasing exposure instead of attempting to compete for keywords, since bids can have a fairly high cost. We also reached out to Google Ads regarding ad impression restrictions. This May, we will continue updating negative keywords to better maximise our budget.

The Smile Workx – March 2022 Monthly Report
Manager
The SEO campaign has gotten off to a very promising start, in terms of both website traffic and keyword performance. User visits are now up to 320, with a peak on March 21 of 24 users in total. Over half those users arrived through organic (SEO) channels and spent a significant amount of time on the website, which signals that our content is relevant to user searches. The site’s average SEO rank currently sits at 6.8 overall, and a majority of our keywords are on the first page of Google results. Some notable keyword performances are ‘dental implants Sunrise Beach’ and ‘cosmetic dentistry Noosa’, which both rank in the #1 spot! In April, we will optimise the competitive ‘dentist Sunshine Coast’ keyword to take advantage of its high monthly search volume. We will also expand on- and off-page strategies to boost a number of keywords and raise their rankings.
March, unfortunately, did not continue the positive results from last month, with the campaign experiencing some setbacks. User visits saw a 7.2% decline, although the overall trend featured several peaks. There were a few notable spikes in traffic, such as on March 2, 14, and 28. A majority of users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and while fewer than last month, almost all of them were new. Average session duration still remains well over a minute as well. For the SEO campaign, we saw a 4.1% decrease in the site’s average rank, but it still remains fairly high at 12.4. We now have 23 keywords in the top 3 positions, and have retained 10 in the top 1 spot – very pleasing to see. March saw us complete on-page optimisations focusing on the ‘dentist fitzroy’ target keyword, which we expect to shift in ranking in the coming weeks. This April, we will shift focus to the ‘dentist kew’ target keyword to take advantage of its monthly search volume.
