WCJJM – July 2021 Monthly Report
Manager
The month of July has produced strong and positive results for the campaign, especially in terms of keyword rankings. Due to recent lockdowns in Victoria, we have noted a significant decrease in overall website traffic for the month amounting to 68.5%. However, we do not attribute this loss to the SEO campaign because in spite of the lower traffic, the organic (SEO) channel was actually able to bring in more users this month! We are also pleased to find an improvement in the average SEO ranking of the campaign due to the increase of keywords that are ranking in both the top 3 and top 4 to 10 positions of Google search results. The targeted keywords have also been performing positively! We note a few wins in this area of the campaign as a number of targeted keywords are able to go up from their previous page rankings. All in all, it has been a fantastic month for the SEO campaign! With the school now open once again, we’re excited to see the website traffic bounce back up through the month of August.

WCJJM – June 2021 Monthly Report
Manager
The month of June has produced slower results than expected for the SEO campaign. Unfortunately, there is still a continuous decline in overall website traffic from the past few months, although this June is just at a 3.1% decrease. We are optimistic that this will turn around in July due to the upward trend in site visits through the latter part of the month. There has been a drop in the overall SEO ranking, caused by a number of keywords that have fallen from the top 3 positions to the top 4 to 10 positions of Google search results. The targeted keywords have gone through a variety of movements, both upward and downward, of different degrees. The most notable win was seeing keyword ‘bjj Melbourne’ go up from the 50th position to the 34th with the optimisations completed in the last few weeks. We will address the ranking dips from this month via our continued on-page optimisation efforts and do expect with these changes, to see the overall website traffic bounce back.
