The month of April has produced results that were slower than expected for the next part of the SEO campaign. The overall website traffic has gone down by 11.5%, however we do not attribute this dip to the SEO campaign considering that the number of users brought in by the organic (SEO) channel has actually increased for the month in spite of the decrease in traffic. Organic search results continue to be the second top-performing channel for the site as well. For the keyword rankings, there has been a slight dip in the average SEO ranking. This is caused by a few keywords moving down from the top 3 positions of search results. Nevertheless, the number of keywords on the first page of Google remains solid. We aim to improve the rankings for the Melbourne keywords in the coming month of May by focusing on our on-page optimisations once again.

It has been a fantastic start for the SEO campaign this month of March since new SEO pages were sent live! The overall website traffic is currently amounting to 4,170 users. The organic (SEO) channel is the second top performing channel as it brings in 250 organic visitors for the month. The SEO average ranking is at the 6th position, attributed to the impressive number of keywords ranking in the top 3 and top 4-10 positions of Google search results. So far, 97 keywords were able to rank in the top 3 positions while 20 keywords are ranking in the top 4-10 positions of organic search results. So far, the targeted keywords have been performing decently well although there is room for improvement especially for the more valued Melbourne keywords. Only keyword ‘wing chun Melbourne’ has secured a rank on the first page of Google. We aim to secure off-page links to ensure that the new SEO optimised content rank closer to the first page of search results. We will also assert keyword ‘martial arts Melbourne’ further by using on-page optimisations for the coming month of April.
